The 0405-82IE style is a tapered fit that sits higher in the waist. These raw denim jeans have a button fly, extra upper leg space and has a taper from the knee down. The rear pocket features the GTB (Going To Battle) stripes in an indigo thread embroidery style, a reference to the battle stripes Samurai warriors would get on their uniform when going to battle.
This denim fabric is woven with Zimbabwean cotton which is known for its extremely high quality due to the long staple fibre. The raw denim material has been rope-dyed with natural indigo and develops a beautiful patina with wear and tear over time.
Please note that (raw) denim in (natural) indigo might bleed on light surfaces and textiles such as white sneakers or an off-white sofa. We advise you to turn the jeans inside out and soak it in a bucket with lukewarm water for 30 minutes, before the first actual wear. This way you rinse out a bit of leftover starch and indigo plus it takes out the final bits of shrinkage. The bleeding of indigo, as it is known as, is a characteristic of quality denim and will also occur during the early stages of wear.
