The art of creating together
After a 1st limited edition release in 2021, the creative collaboration between painter Jamel Armand, workwear tailor Fernando Garcia de la Calera of TheConcrete and Jeroen de Wal of Store Du Nord has resulted in a new release of Jamel's Jacket.
Inspired by workwear jackets worn by artists in the 20th century, Jamel's Jacket is fully handmade by TheConcrete. A cotton-hemp selvedge fabric, monkey-fist buttons and silkscreen print of Jamel Armand's signature art.
Limited to 10 pieces. Unisex.
We will release Jamel's Jacket during our launch event at our new creative hub 'De Ida' located at Juffrouw Idastraat 25-H in Den Haag, Saturday the 13th of May, from 13-20h.
During this special event, Jamel Armand will do Action Painting and Store Du Nord will offer a selection of curated garments (men, women, unisex).
