autumn foliage
slow steps make the morning walk.
the crisp air signals a shift in seasons.
green leaves on the tree are quietly turning orange.
sandy lanes covered in a sea of what was once up high.
autumn foliage is showing its gentle face.
a calm yearning for cosy garments.
less daylight brings out the love for warmer colors.
the sheep's wool.
the sturdy wax cotton.
the soft corduroys.
moments where we walk among the will of nature.
each single step a leap into a new journey.
embracing what's waiting for us.
saying farewell to what's leaving us.
a shift in how we feel.
a shift in how we dress.
a shift in how we live.
with the changing of the leaves, so does the changing of our lives.
autumn is here.
