LEE Jeans 101 Rider Dry slim fit denim selvedge jeans, the iconic 1960s fit by LEE Jeans.
These jeans come in a heavy dyed dark indigo color and have a slim fit cut. The 101 Rider Dry has a regular rise so doesn't sit below the waist, and is sightly tapered from the knee down. The recycled denim fabric has been woven as a nappy weft giving the dark indigo fabric some naps as a special effect.
The raw denim fabric is a 13oz. right hand twill with a Jade green selvedge id and woven in Japan. Selvedge denim means the fabric is woven on a shuttle loom and being used to the full extent, preventing loss of fabric. This method of weaving creates finished edges on both sides of the fabric, the selvage.
Please note that (raw) denim in (natural) indigo might bleed on light surfaces and textiles such as white sneakers or an off-white sofa. We advise you to turn the jeans inside out and soak it in a bucket with lukewarm water for 30 minutes, before the first actual wear. This way you rinse out a bit of leftover starch and indigo plus it takes out the final bits of shrinkage. The bleeding of indigo, as it is known as, is a characteristic of quality denim and will also occur during the early stages of wear.
Model wears a w32 size, is 182cm tall and weighs 73kg.
